London Excursion November 2018

Rita and I love London and it is personally my favorite city anywhere. We have developed a habit of escaping for a week as the weather get crappy. Planning and anticipating getting away softens the blow of winter’s onset. We have been there many times but there are still things we haven’t seen and done. This time we included a day-trip to Oxford. I always wanted to hear the Chour of New College Oxford in their Chapel. I will go back to Oxford again sometime. Of course there was a lot of stained glass there to see.

Here is a really interesting window we found at night while we were searching for the New College Chapel and Evensong. It appears to be made up of fragments of older windows and completely new elements. I have been hoping to find a way to incorporate fragments of older church stained glass in new windows.
